OHHHH BABIES

So I HAD to take a picture of Hannah in this outfit because I think she looks soooo sweet in it and I got a bonus - she SMILED! It is so great because i have been trieng to catch it on camera for a while now... What a BABE!
On Monday we got to have cousin Abigale over to play while her Daddy worked on their house! Hannah and Abbi sat like this for over an hour! Touching each other, laughing , staring etc. It was really precious! I could not even get Hannah to look away for a second for the camera!

I guess this image says it all - so fun! I am glad to have such a big strong hubby. I was totally channelling the pioneer woman today as I sat in the truck feeding the baby while my own "Marlboro Man" fixed our poor truck. Of course what we didnt know was that the tread had seperated from the tire on the spare. Lets just say it was a pretty bumpy ride home!

Chocolate Falls

The Saturday before Easter we got to go to the Grand Falls! (Or Chocolate Falls or Mud falls depending on who you talk to.)

It was beautiful and so fun!

Quad Riding

The Friday before Easter Jonathan borrowed Quads from Dad and took the kids plus cousin Kacy (who was visiting for the week) on a long Quad ride. They had a great time and got really dirty:)

Escinoso falls

March 8th

Ok - this post is in opposite order so we will start with after the "hike". Emma and Russel wanted to sit at the picnic table and eat some lunch and Emma noticed that there was a crack in the table in front of her. She asked Dad, Derek, Russ and I if there were cracks in front of us too. When we said yes she made up a song, "Everybody has a crack"!


On the short but pretty hike - we will certainly come back and try again when its not starting to rain and when the waterfall is actually flowing!



Here is the AMAZING waterfall (major sarcasm here people). I was a little sad that Jonathan convinced me to come here instead of to Grand Falls. Oh well, hopefully we will get there before the water is all gone:)

Random Sweetness

Russell loves to line up all of his cars - he does it every day although usually all the medium and big size cars are involved too... Cute hu:)

Pilates

My kids love doing Pilates with me - this morning Jonathan suprised us and caught it on camera! Emma wasn't feeling great but she is really good so we will post a pic with her soon:)

I have spent the week on the couch

I have been doing some serious blog surfing

I have come to the conclusion that I pretty much love everyone and I want to be everyones friend.

I do! I miss those people that I had little issues with in high school and college. I want them to be a part of my world. We all are here trying so hard to reach the same goals - Being friends with people who are on the same path makes life so much more bearable and fun. I love seeing the way peoples families grow, the traditions they have, and the love they all share! I am so glad to see the great choices that friends have made and the lives that they are living now!

So... if you are stopping by and I havn't talked to you in FOREVER (or even if I talked to you yesterday) Please leave a comment and I will get a hold of you and we can be friends again!

Training?

Ok, I have the best news. On Feb 29th I decided I was DONE changing Russell's diapers. I put underwear on him and told him he only got diapers at night now. He IS almost 3 for goodness sake... So, he cried for a long time about it but he did it! He has had 2 accidents (the first 2 days) and already decided he wanted to use the big potty instead of the little training one. Yeah! I am one happy Mom! Now we just have to do the night time thing and we will be good. With Emma we started about a week after she was fully trained during the day and she never had an accident so we are hopeful! There is definitely something to be said for waiting to potty train until the kids are a bit older! This went as smoothly as I could have ever imagined!

Friends

On Saturday Russell was holding my hand as we walked back from the mailbox. He looked up at me and said, "Mom, you are my best friend. I love you more than ice cream!"
I bit my lip to keep from tearing up as I hugged him.
How is it that children know just what to do and say to make life complete and perfect?

Me?

Ok so this morning I took a little "me time" and did some silly quizzes. I am Bella from Twilight, Ginny from Harry Potter, Chad from High School Musical, Dwight from the office and I am a Parent from Honey I shrunk the kids.
I read and re read the results amazed at how conflicting every one was... It was fun! I did them on web.tickle.com so if you are really bored today you can see if you are more Angelina or Jennifer, etc....
Also, I totally agreed with the Bella and Ginny results - so me. The rest I don't really think are too accurate (not that I thought they would be, it WAS just for fun:))
My results are all on my facebook account because I couldn't get them to post on here, so look me up there if you want to see them! Meanwhile - I better get back to being a Mom:)

Why we love Sundays

We sure love Sundays because Daddy gets to spend more time at home! We miss seeing him as much as we would like!

Russell was sooo happy!

We saw this on the way back from our hike in Sedona.... Russ was one happy camper! It was the biggest truck he has ever seen in real life and one that he has loved looking at in books and in movies we have borrowed from the library.

Sweet kids! (We bought the watches on the way out of town, that is why they seem sort of preoccupied with them!)

You can't see them but on the way back we blew a lot of bubbles for the kids to keep them from getting to bored with seeing the same stuff they had seen on the way! It also helped to keep them from realizing how tired they were! They hiked about 2 miles!

Emma ran in front of us most of the way. She LOVES to hike and is actually really good at it!

All in all a fantastic day! We had so much fun! We are so excited for warmer weather so we can get out and PLAY!
