A huge thank you to Mari for sending this to me! I did a post recently about adoption and this is right on that same track - even with one of the girls and my friend's pics - Lily P studio! I have such a strong testimony of the importance of adoption, I cannot imagine any other choice for these precious children!

I was amazingly able to do laundry through the entire sick part of this pregnancy! Another first! And why???? Because of this stuff....
It seriously just smells sooooo good and when I paired it with Snuggle Wild Orchid & Vanilla - MMMMMMMM! My clothes smell so good. Jonathan jokes with me about needing everything apple mango tango. "Dish soap? Do you want me to get apple mango tango?", "Do you want me to see if they have apple manho tango shampoo?" Funny guy!

Pink or Blue?

Ya, so it is Friday and I am JUST getting on these pics from Sunday! Sheesh! These are the other cute matching dresses my girls got from Grandma G! I just LOVE them! Especially with the cute bows that Jen made!!!!

Emma just gave Russell her "best homemade soda" and he said it smelled kinda stinky and she said, "I am so sorry, that is my best homemade soda, I am kind of sad you don't like it." Russell says, "Oh, I just tasted it again and it is really yummy, can I have some ice cream in it too? "

Sorry - she kind of drives me crazy! I am not a fan of her voice and I think that she is already a bit of an airhead and plays it up extra... Seriously? You don't know France is a country? Where do you suppose Paris is? Really, you have never heard of Hungary? How could she make it through elementary school, let alone Junior High and High School

Movie Day!

My Mom and I decided to be really brave and go to the movie with all my kids and my 2 nephews. We were a little nervous but it ended up going really good! We saw the movie Bedtime Stories. The older two loved it.
We were on the way home from that when a friend called and asked if I wanted to do a girls night and go see Bride Wars. I didn't think I could because Jonathan had stuff he had to do at the Clerks office at Church and I figured there was no way. I called him though and he said, "I will come home - you have to go!" Isn't that so nice? I was so pumped! Especially since one of the girls is moving next week:(! It was great to get to spend some more time with her! And the movie is hilarious! So - you need to all go see it with a group of girlfriends! I overheard guys saying they liked it too, but it would be a great girl bonding movie! ;) Thanks again for the invite Annette and Samantha - it was a blast!

Lil Hannah Babe

Ok - I would feel really bad announcing that we had Hannah's 1 year old appointment yesterday (at 13 months), except that there were 3 other little girls in the waiting room for their one year appointments at 13 months! YAY! I am not the only slacker Mom!

So... once again the nurse measured her (wrong) so I asked the Dr to re-measure her and she had been 2 1/2 inches off!!! That is a pretty big deal! So here are the latest stats for Lil miss Sugar

32.2" tall! = 101%
22.6 lbs = 61% - such a chunk!!!!
45.0 head circ = 39%

Aparently everything is great! Yay! She was so grumpy and tired though - we had waited 2 hours.... and threw a fit in front of the DR. I couldn't help but laugh and her Dr said, yep, she is such a third child! Funny!
Oh -and she had to get 4 shots! Poor little baby! It was a rough day!

Meanwhile, I was supposed to have a Dr appt yesterday but there was an emerency C-section so I go to get weighed, wait in a room for a while and then go home... So, I have my next appt on Thursday. Meanwhile, I get to ponder how much weight I gained over Christmas.... Fun! Why do they make us get weighed? I just think it is cruel - mostly because I don't really care but everyone at the Dr's office cares, ALOT! I gain a lot during pregnancy but lose it all so I am just not going to get worked up about it. I eat good(when I can eat again), exersize, and get fatter... Is your Dr one that is concerned about weight gain?

New stuff
A new year means kids move up in classes in our church. Russell now goes from playing in "nursery" to an actual class - "Sunbeams". I was kind of hearbroken that he is so big... he had a bit of a hard time at first - he wanted to sit with his sister not his class. I did the tough love thing and left him (and watched in the back of the room). He calmed right down and did great! I went and looked in on him during class and he was telling his teachers, "I love everything, and I love everyone!" Sweetie! He came home with an "I am a child of God" crown and was so thrilled with his teachers and friends that are still with him. (I think the only reason he had a tough time was that his "girlfriend" wasn't there...)
I am old! I was watching Mamma Mia and was crying as the Mom got the girl ready for her wedding - I am no longer the girl getting married when I watch these types of movies - I am the Mom. Crying thinking of how soon I will give my girls away.... I realized this as I watched Steel Magnolias this past summer, but it really sunk in the other night... Gosh I am getting old.
Em is finally back in school... it was a looooong break and she was so ready to get back! We will see how that went when she gets home today!
Hannah is walking all over - she is such a big girl all of a sudden... She started walking a few days before her first b-day.... we were all thrilled! She lights up all of our lives. We are a little worried about how she will take the new baby - she is so used to being the center of the universe!!!!
So - that is us! Ready to take on a new year!!!!

Our life is like....

A zoo! Most of the time! We had an extra long Christmas break (because of 4 snow days the week before Christmas break was scheduled to begin). Because of this Mom and the kids REALLY needed to get out of the house and the snow! We planned to go to the Albuquerque zoo but since it was supposed to be as cold as Flag we headed down to Phoenix! And BONUS - our cousins went with us!!!! Yay!

Here are the kids on New Years Eve ready to stay up till "midnight". We watched Prince Caspian and were planning on watching the ball drop at 10:00 because that is the way it works in AZ... Or used to... Now they delay it! Uh Oh! We told the kids they could stay up thinking they would go to bed at 10:00.... Luckily Russell had fallen asleep around 8:45, but Emma was going strong at 11:00 so Jonathan found a You Tube video of the ball dropping and showed her that and she went off to bed. She was a little suspicious when it showed 2008 but Jonathan said that they do that to say goodbye to 2008.... She was tired and didn't question it!
