Hawaii Day 3

We got up this morning and had a great breakfast and then hit the road!

First we went to the Kilahuea lighthouse where it was the 98th anniversary and free admission for the day! Lucky us!

I was so excited because I adore lighthouses!

We went here for lunch - it was so so soooooo good!

From here on the pics are out of order.... I don't know why... These pics are from "Tunnels" beach. If you have seen Soul Surfer this is where the attack happened. This was probably one of my favorite things we did! It was so incredibly beautiful!

Here we are back at the place we had lunch. I was amazed by the beauty! Look at how huge these leaves are!

This serioiusly looked like a set or a backdrop for a ride at Disneyland! The pictures don't do it justice - it is incredible!!!

Back at Tunnels beach and our snorkeling! It really was so beautiful!

I had to stop here and see the Taro feilds! I LOVE Taro! YUM!!!!

When we got back to the house J wanted a pic of me with the flower he put in my hair!

After that long and fun day we were pretty wiped out so we got shave ice, had a steak dinner at home. Then Mom and I headed to Wal-Mart and grabbed Muu Muus for Mothers day the next day!

Hawaii Day 2

Jeremy and Melissa went out late the night before and grabbed stuff for breakfast. They spent $65 on Bacon, Eggs, Spam, Milk, OJ, Banana's and grapes! Luckily Jonathan and I had heard to go to Costco so we headed there that day! BUT - it was a yummy breakfast!

After breakfast and exploring the shore and all the cute creatures we headed to the awesome blowhole - spouting horn which we could actually see from our back porch/ yard/ pool!

Loved spouting horn! We saw a Sea Turtle surfing there and they had great little shops!

I love all the chickens everywhere!!!

Even in the Walmart parking lot! We stopped at Walmart to grab some things we needed and then went to Kauai Pasta for lunch. It was so so so amazing! And I only ate the veggies! But everyone elses stuff looked so good! If you go to Kauai go there!

We then headed to Wailua Falls! So pretty - I adore waterfalls!

Derek, Dad and Jonathan hiked down to the bottom... No trail, just hiked down the cliff - they are crazy!

After Wailua we headed to Costco where we spent $650 in food - but for a week for 6 adults that was pretty good! Plus, we stayed in and had Steaks that night! YUM! The best part of the night - watching all the Turtles surfing from the porch!!! Anyone that knows me knows - I LOVE Turtles!!!
